Berry, Citrus & Ginseng Botanically Infused Body Butter

Starting with the botanical benefits of the butters and oils, mango butter is a luxurious skin care, butter that contains vitamins, A, C and E, as well as oleic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid and linoleic acid. 

Mango butter is anti-aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, emollient and comedogenic Which means it won’t clog your pores!

Then we have Shea butter, one of my favorite, luxurious and nourishing skin care butters to use. Shea butter is antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, rich in omega 3 fatty acids that help balance out your skin and contains vitamins A, C, E and F. In addition to its moisturizing, hydrating and nourishing properties. Shea butter also helps prevent acne and helps clear excess oil from the skin. Shea butter, also boost, collagen, production, and cell regeneration. Because of its ultra nourishing benefits, Shea butter can also help calm various inflammatory skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

Kokum butter is another amazing nourishing skin care butter. It is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, non comedogenic, anti-bacterial and complexion balancing. Kokum butter is also rich in vitamin E and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids which deeply moisturize the skin. Due to its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, it can also be used to help calm inflamed skin, sunburns, rashes, and even reduce under eye puffiness. Kokum butter also helps restore skin elasticity, making the skin look plumper and more useful. It can also tone and firm your skin contributing to a more refined and sculpted appearance. Kokum butter can also help control, acne and blemishes due to its antibacterial properties that also help cleanse the pores of impurities, germs and dust. In addition to it being non comedogenic with a light non-greasy texture, kokum butter can regulate oil while effectively addressing breakouts, blackheads, and pimples.

Coconut oil is anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antioxidant, antimicrobial and naturally cleansing and exfoliating to the skin. Coconut oil also contains vitamin E as well as lactic acid and unsaturated omega-6 fatty acids. It’s noncomedogenic which means it won’t clog your pores. Coconut oil is intensely moisturizing and helps even out your skin tone and complexion by helping prevent hyperpigmentation, dark circles, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. 

Olive oil is one of my favorite oils to infuse with botanicals. Olive oil particularly has a high content of squalene, which gives it an extra antioxidant boost. Squalene is also extremely hydrating to the skin and adds additional nourishment. Olive oil is anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, antibacterial and rich and antioxidants, like vitamins A, D, E and K. Olive oil helps to reduce dryness and is hydrating, moisturizing and nourishing, helping to give softer and smoother skin. Olive oil also helps improve skin elasticity. 

Now diving into the luxurious botanicals that are infused in this body butter. I used an infused coconut oil with apple, lemongrass, elderberry, orange, peel, hibiscus, mango, ginseng, sunflower and an infused olive oil infused with, black tea, blueberries, mallow, blossoms, and corn flowers. 

Apple is anti-inflammatory, hydrating, naturally exfoliating and rich in antioxidants like vitamins, ANC. Apple also helps to clear your skin and brighten your complexion. Apples also contain vitamin E, which have water binding properties that help keep the skin nourished and hydrated. Citric acid is an alpha hydroxy acid, which works as an exfoliating agent. 

Lemongrass is antibacterial, antifungal, astringent, anti-inflammatory, detoxifies, cleanses, and is wound healing. Lemongrass also helps to reduce oil in us and shine in the skin. It also helps to prevent acne by fighting off bacteria, preventing growth of bacteria and detoxifying the skin.

Orange peel is anti-inflammatory, naturally exfoliating, cleansing and hydrating to the skin as well as rich in antioxidants like vitamins A and C. Citric acid and orange peel also helps fight off acne and control ecstasy production. Orange peel also helps prevent skin dehydration and supports new skin cell growth well assisting and healing, blemishes and scars. Orange peel also helps to prevent hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone while balancing out your complexion.

Hibiscus is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, rich in vitamin C and alpha hydroxy acids as well as citric acid. Hibiscus is also hydrating, toning, helps retain your youthful complexion, helps retain moisture, is naturally exfoliating and naturally cleansing to the skin, and astringent. Hibiscus also promotes collagen production and helps support skin elasticity. 

Mango is anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and naturally exfoliating to the skin. Mango is also rich in antioxidants containing vitamins A, B, C, E and K. Mayo also helps prevent acne, promote healthy hydrated skin, promotes collagen production, and helps reduce oily skin and rosacea. Alpha hydroxy acids in mangoes, help fully the skin and remove dead skin cells. 

Ginseng is anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, complexion balancing and helps prevent hyperpigmentation. Gentling also helps to increase hydration in your skin as well as improving your skin barrier. Ginseng also helps to improve circulation in your skin which helps to reduce puffiness. Jensen also helps with collagen production, minimizing, and revitalizing tired skin.

Sunflower is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, anti-aging and non-congenic. Sunflower also helps prevent acne, nourish your skin, and unclog your pores.

Black tea is another one of my favorite botanicals to infuse in my skin care. It helps brighten your skin, and the caffeine also helps for reduce puffiness and dark circles. It’s high and antioxidants that help promote skin health. Black tea also promotes collagen, production and cell regeneration. 

Blueberry is anti-aging, rich in antioxidants, and promotes collagen and elastin production. Blueberry is high in vitamin C and K both of which promote wound healing. Vitamin A helps to stimulate collagen and last in production. Blueberry is a natural antioxidant and pro retinol that works on a cellular level to balance out your skin, improving texture and appearance. Blueberry feeds your skin what it needs to lock in moisture and help fights, dryness, dullness, and large pores. Blueberry is rejuvenating and helps balance out your skin pH level.

Mallow blossoms are anti-inflammatory and antiseptic. They’re helpful for treating acne and skin irritations as well as help with eczema flare ups, psoriasis, and wound healing. mallow blossoms also contain vitamins C and E. 

Cornflower blossoms are astringent meaning it closes pores, gently dries skin and regulates sebum production. It also tones and brightens your complexion.
